Starting your journey at Alltruck

Written by Sarah Moore, Marketing Executive at Alltruck Plc.

This month Alltruck has welcomed a number of new starters filling key roles within the business. As a new starter at Alltruck, you are given an extensive three-week induction with the Alltruck Academy which allows new members of staff to talk to every employee within all departments and sites across the business. It’s a great opportunity to fully get to know how the business works as well as starting to build relationships with new colleagues.

As part of the induction, we met up with some of our new starters to try and learn more about them. We wanted to find out why they chose to work for Alltruck as well as a bit about their skills and background.

Andrew Fletcher

Andrew is Alltruck’s new Workshop Manager, based at our Loughborough depot. This is a new role within the business as our workshop function grows. We asked him a few questions to find out more about his background.

Where have you worked before?

“Prior to Alltruck I worked at Ryder as Workshop Supervisor. I had worked with the company for 8 years and started my career there as an apprentice.”

What attracted you to work with Alltruck?

“I think the thing that stood out to me most about Alltruck is the personal touch you give to all of your customers. You really build partnerships with your customers and do your best to help them at every touch point. I was also really drawn to the company culture and attitude of the employees. Everyone is really willing to help and everyone works as one team, this has been really helpful for me during my first few weeks in the business and has helped me to settle into my role quickly. Alltruck really lives by its values. ”
