Alltruck, has recently supplied a specially modified DAF CF 260 to CN Glass for distribution of its diverse range of glass and related products.
From its production facility in Banbury, CN Glass cuts, toughens and processes glass, supplying most types of windows, doors, double glazing, conservatories, and custom glass for a wide range of applications in the commercial and residential sectors.
With a history spanning 50 years, the company is seen as the foremost supplier and installer of superior glass products in Oxfordshire.
“We have an extensive delivery fleet with a number of vehicles specially adapted for the safe and secure transport of glass products,” says CN Glass. “The new vehicle from Alltruck is no exception, and was specified with a number of bespoke features, designed for the task.”
External glass sheet racking is fitted within the truck’s curtain sides – which can be tensioned and opened from either end, to give 85% access across the body length, larger items can be loaded through a sliding roof.
The 18-tonne DAF chassis is fitted with adjustable electronically controlled rear air suspension, to ensure a fully shock-absorbent ride.

CN Glass is accredited with British Standard, BS EN1279 Part 2 & Part 3 for the manufacture of double-glazed units.
