Alltruck plc drives winning try at Nottingham Rugby Club

Alltruck plc has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Nottingham Rugby Club to provide the team van and shirt sponsorship for the club’s flourishing Academy.

Nottingham Rugby Club, based at Lady Bay in Nottingham, was established in 1877 and the first team currently play in the Championship, the second tier of English rugby.

Alltruck plc’s relationship with Nottingham Rugby Club goes back to 2011. The three-year deal, agreed earlier this year, sees Alltruck providing a liveried Mercedes Sprinter. The van will be used for community events and taking kit to away matches.

In addition, Alltruck will appear as shirt sponsors for the Academy players.

Nottingham Rugby Club took delivery of the state-of-the-art Mercedes Sprinter at the end of the summer ahead of the new season and in time for the first away match.

Paul Robinson, managing director of Alltruck plc, said: “We have a long-standing relationship with Nottingham Rugby Club and are delighted to support them once again by providing the team van, as well as sponsoring the academy shirts.

“As one of Nottingham’s biggest companies, it is important to us to give something back to the city and being able to support Nottingham Rugby Club in this way is a big part of this.
“We wish the team every success in the new season!”

Steve Smith, Chief Operating Officer at Nottingham Rugby Club, said: “We welcome the support from Alltruck plc and are grateful for the new van.

“As a club we seek to provide opportunities for the Academy players to develop and this includes playing in matches across the country. Having the team van helps us enormously with our away matches.

“We value the support of businesses such as Alltruck to help our club thrive.”

Alltruck plc is committed to supporting the local community and as well as the sponsorship at Nottingham Rugby Club, the business is a proactive supporter of Leicestershire Cares, which brings businesses and communities together by facilitating employee volunteering.
