Dan was nominated for Employee of the Month by our Fleet Operations Manager for his curiosity, willingness to learn and drive which helped to resolve a situation.
During an inspection of a public sector vehicle, Dan was told of a few discrepancies that had been found during a stock take. Dan took on the challenge of working out where the stock had gone missing, despite having no previous experience or training in doing this. Dan worked tirelessly to recover over £3000 worth of stock.
As a winner of Employee of the Month, Dan recieves £250 to donate to a charity of his choice. Dan has decided to split the money between two charities, the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK. Two amazing charities working hard to help save lives, we hope Dan’s donation will help them to continue their incredible work.
Dan Valentine works within the Public Sector Fleet team as Senior Public Sector Controller. His role helps to make sure that all of our public service vehicles stay on the road and help the NHS in its vital journey. Dan and the rest of the Public Sector Fleet team are based at our Croft office.
