Alltruck plc is an ambitious and successful SME.
Alltruck supplies high-value capital goods – but much of our profit is derived from after-sales support and service contracts. This makes long term relationships critical to both customer retention and business growth.
Over the years, we have built up a strong reputation within our specialist sector on quality and excellent customer relationships. Our customers range from one-man-bands to large, prestigious companies who are leading names in their own markets.
At Alltruck our people are our most important asset and we strive to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realise our established missions and objectives.
This role will report directly to the Head of Talent Development and works closely with the Executive Team to embed key people processes within the business. This is a truly commercial HR role so you must be able to align your own priorities with those of the top team.
You will be tasked with driving performance management across the business. Alltruck has a culture where achievements and development needs are openly discussed via regular one-to-ones. Your role will include ensuring the frequency of meetings and that the agreed actions are implemented and progress monitored.
This is a generalist HR post where you will be expected to roll your sleeves up and ensure that the basics are done brilliantly well. You will get to work on some interesting projects from time to time but this must not be at the expense of making sure that the day to day HR activities are delivered to a high standard.
Based in Leicestershire, but you will travel occasionally to other sites in the East Midlands.
Someone with real attention to detail and a commercial focus. This is not a ‘fluffy’ HR job. Your success will be measured by how effective HR is in supporting managers to drive organisational success. Your CV will therefore need to show how you have helped previous employers to improve key people and commercial metrics.
We are not looking for specific industry experience, but you do need the gravitas to be credible with the leadership team. Above all, you will be tough and resilient with an ability to have critical conversations when necessary. Ideally you will demonstrate at least 5 years proven experience as a HR professional and hold a minimum level 5 CIPD qualification.
This is a great business with great people that love what they do. If you are professional but also able to work with good humour, you will fit right in!
This business is passionate about people – We have won the Investors in People platinum award – and you can be sure the MD will see your continued development as a priority. If you progress to interview and assessment you will quickly discover that cultural fit is as important to us as technical ability
